With nothing but a piece of wood and a knife, you can make endless amounts of strong plastic string. As plastic is a major pollutant, this is a neat way to use it as cordage, or for art projects where string is currently used, or if you can get it thin enough, fishing line. Please be really careful disposing of this stuff.
